Differences In Men’s Pants

Tagged Under : , ,

Shopping with the man in your life can be quite painful.  Men are often picky, fickle, and not good at expressing their preferences.  You might want to shop for your significant other independently.  Read on and you’ll be shopping for pants for your man in no time.
First things first—do not expect this to be a 1-2-3 experience.  These days you can find men’s pants in an almost unlimited range of styles and fabrics, making the possibilities endless.  Prior to entering a shop, you’ll want to know what occasion you’re purchasing the pants for.  If you are shopping for pants your man can wear to work, stick with khaki, wool, or dress pants.  Denim or cords are comfortable for outside of work.   You can shop more efficiently, saving time and energy, if you know when your man will be wearing the pants.

After you are quite clear on the purpose of the pants you are purchasing, you then need to consider the physique of the man you are shopping for.  While men’s pants are much looser in general than women’s pants, remember that the pants a man wears can still make him look better or worse depending on the fit.  In addition, you’ll want to consider body type, height, as well as lifestyle of your man when purchasing men’s pants.
After you’ve figured out these details, you’ll want to pick out the style of pants.  Here are some typical pant styles that are out there.
1.) Front crease pants.  Front crease pants suit men who are on the heavier side and have larger thighs.  These are also good for men who have a larger waistline.
2.) Cuffed pants.  These pants are great for men who are tall and lean.  These pants help to break up the line of view, which makes tall men, well, not seem so tall.  This style of pant is very trendy, and is becoming very popular.
3.) Slim fit pants.  This style looks best on younger, in shape men.  They tend to be fashionable and often have some fancy stitching or buttons.  This look may not be for the less fashion-oriented guys out there.
4.) Cargo Pants.  These pants aren’t really a good look for the contemporary adult male.  We don’t suggest these for anyone, really.  Men used to wear them years ago, but more recently they have fallen out of style.  It’s not a good idea to be seen wearing these pants, since it makes you look like you’re trying hard to fit in.
Hopefully, after reading about styles and trends of men’s pants, you’ll be able to conveniently select the perfect pair of pants for your man.
