BCBG Shoes

If you’re hunting for a more modern styled shoe for today’s younger crowd then perhaps BCBG Shoes may have what you desire.

Shoes in the BCBG collection are absolutely targeted towards a younger cool indie crowd who thrives for attention and Max Azria serves it up best. Take note, this is not your mom’s shoe.

The shoes have a more European style and elegance and compliments more stylish ensembles than the toned-down everyday look. Much of the collection does not mesh well with the office conservative wear and is typically branded for the contemporary club and bar scene.

Made popular by the Hollywood and NYC Soho crowd but comes across as a very strong shoe that cannot be worn by simply anyone. This entire collection stands out and you will definitely be noticed and remembered.

I must say you either adore or hate BCGB shoes; there really isn’t any in between.

What I love about BCBG Shoes:

·         Young, Hot and stylish and shows off tons of attitude.

·         If you are hunting for that “look at those shoes…I wonder where she got those from?” then BCBG brand will be perfect for you.

What I do not like about BCBG Shoes:

·         Very little vibrant colors infused in the entire collection (the 2010 Paris collection supplies a few colorful additions). Sure, Black, Tan and Grey will go with anything but I need lots more spice in my closet.

·         A lot of shoes have that funky toned-up vibe leaving me ready to party. Not sure if that’s bad or good?

The FavoriteChoices out of All BCBG Shoes:

·         Women’s Lark 1 Pump in Azalea Pink; it’s a unusual find in a collection or neutral colors but after hunting and hunting I stumbled upon this stunning pink color that just popped! Can you imagine wearing this out at night?

·         The Colly Bootie in Black – a shoe-bootie that has a remarkable feminine feel designed only for the contemporary woman. Can be paired perfectly with a pantsuit or a chic little black dress.

But like I said, these shoes are targeted towards a certain style of woman. Now I do not believe you can provide a great review just by looking at a shoe; you’ve got to go out and wear it, so I did;

The few BCBG shoes that I tried out were cut very narrow so it won’t fit just any foot. If you usually wear a size 7, get a size 7.5; As soon as I tried on the shoe all eyes were on my feet. It truly has a magnetism all its own. I can’t imagine how one would feel wearing these shoes to an event – it would be the thing to talk about all night; “where’d you get them”; “how much did they cost”;

Does anyone ever ask about how a shoe feels? Or does it actually matter?
