My love of designer handbags began when I was a child. There is just something about a woman with a perfectly matching handbag. She is just so beautiful. Throughout my youth, I made many collages from the pictures of handbags that I found in magazines. Some would call be addicted, but I have gone without or eaten meagerly to have enough money to buy my next handbag..

Every week, I take a couple of hours to pour over magazines to make sure that I know what the latest and greatest handbags available. Is it me or are they getting more expensive? I thought that I had a good idea on how much these evening bags were worth, but I guess I was wrong. So I have decided to share some of my favorites right here for you to help you make a good buying decision.

If I had to pick my favorite out of all of the hand bags that I looked at, I would have to say that Fendi would be my favorite design house. Though they are coming out with new styles all of the time, they somehow manage to have a classic look to them which is exactly what I like. Fendi designs some of the most sought after designs in the fashion industry, and the “B.Bag” is one of the most in-demand handbag in the world. Though some may think that the price tag is a deterrent, others know the value it provides so it is a small price to pay to be the talk of the party.

Another one of my favorites would have to be the Hermes “Birkin” bag! Named after the famed British actress Jane Birkin, they give you the glamour of an actress and catch eyes. They are also one of the most replicated bags, so you need to be careful when shopping for one. As such, you can only get these bags through special orders and the price varies depending on the materials that they use. It is one of those things that a woman needs in her collection.

The last one of my top three would be the Muse handbag from Yves Saint Laurent. It is very traditional, and yet it calls out to me. After the first time I saw her in the store, I knew that I would have to buy one someday.

I realize that this isn’t a complete list, but it is a start. These are my favorite choices and they might not appeal to everyone. There are so many handbags on the market that you could wear a new one every day of your life – that would be heaven.
