My husband ALWAYS returns it no matter what gift I get him.  So imagine my surprise when last Christmas I finally found a gift he would keep!  Now, I am sure I have your attention.  What was the magical gift? It was a men’s night shirt and mens sweater.

An hard feat was thinking about this gift.I have tried almost everything idea trying to get him a gift, I even looked through tons of online clothing catalogs, have tried buying him electornics, sports gear, fishing gear..  He has rejected all of them, telling me that I either spent too much money, or that I what I had gotten him was something he could never find a use for.  I had almost given up on ever giving him another gift, but then saw this nightshirt on a recent shopping trip and figured it might actually be something he wanted.

I’ll admit when he opened it, he took one look, and said, “Honey, this shirt is way to long for me.”  But once I explained that it was a mens nightshirt, and told him how he could walk around in it without pants, he was all for it. 
What I’ve gleaned from my years of flawed male gift-giving is the following:

•    Men love practical gifts and mens sweater

comfort is what men love.

Men    don’t like things they can look at they love things they can use.

•    Men like to pick out their own dress shirts; it makes them feel like       adults.

•    Men like things they need; if they do not need it, it is a “frivolous waste of hard earned money”.

•      The fact that it is your hard earned money and that you are happy to frivolously waste it will not help your case.  Trust me, I’ve tried.

Tools are what men love.

• To them this does not count as frivolous.  Never point out that these tools inevitably cause your man to work on the house, which inevitably causes you to reach out to a local plumber or handy man to work on the damage your man has caused.

•    Men like things for their cars.

Not lumped up in the gift card category are carwash coupons which are acceptable.

•    Men like gifts that somehow incorporate their favorite sporting team.

•  I would say clothing with team emblems, as well as sporting event tickets, or the ESPN TV sports package are all fair game

•     Men dislike jewelry.

gift cards are what men dislike.

•  To a man a gift card is a woman’s sneaky way of trying to get a man to go shopping on his own volition.

•(So I’ve been told.)

•    Men like all electronics with the exception of a GPS.  A GPS undermines their sense of direction (regardless of how many times your man has led you and your family astray on the road.)

If you want to give a good gift for the men in your life, mens nightshirts are a great option.Our son got a nightshirt as well which was given to him by his father becasue he loved his nightshirt so much!

In terms of their shape, many women are not happy with their shape.  Since the beginning of time, women have used a variety of methods and articles of clothing such as a mens sweater to either cover, restrain, or modify their body shape, including their breasts.  If you have ever walked into the lingerie section of a department store, you are well aware of how many different varieties, styles, designs, and types of bras there are to choose from.  When you are bra shopping it is hard not to be distracted by the many types of materials, colors, and brands of bras that clothing departments sell.  I know it is hard, but all of these are just extra distractions; the most important aspect of choosing a bra is fit and coverage. 1.)    Fully bras are more practical.
2.) If you have large breasts, fully bras are good for you.
3.)    Fully bras provide more support, and usually are made of thicker material to cover you even when you wear a thin shirt.

Uncomfortable chaffing and unsightly marks can be the result of some bras, this is if you only think about the sexiness of a bra, and don’t take into consideration the comfortability of a bra.  Your bra should hug your curves not restrict you.Remember, bras are not supposed to be corsets, but are supposed to be a support system for you.  A properly fitting fully bra should lift you up, not push you down.Your bra should not be uncomfortable; they should not dig into your shoulders, or gouge your breasts.Taking the time to choose the right type of bra is important and something you owe to yourself whether it is for excercising or for casual wear.

Features I look for and reasons that full coverage bras are my favorite:
1.) For the human in all of us, stretch panels and wide sides.
2.) When we need to look more professionasl, adjustable straps with slip-on shoulder pads.
3.)    Cushioned straps so that they hold us up while still providing the utmost comfort.

Recent news states how many women, health professionals, feminists and fashion writers are beginning to question the place of the bra in modern society.Some people such as celebs are not wearing any full coverage bras, you can see this by flipping through some magazines!  While these celebs say not wearing a bra is more freeing, I think bras are necessary to provide support, protection, and properness.   Obviously bras serve a purpose or they would not be as popular as they are today.  Regardless of what these magazines say, if you look at the proportion of women who wear bras versus the proportion who do not; you will see it is an overwhelmingly bra wearing majority.

Being part of the ‘wild wild west’ was our dream when we were kids.  Whether it was due to movies we’d seen, or legends we had heard, being a cowboy on the western front seemed glamorous.  Sadly, you then grew older and realized being a cowboy on the Western front was not exactly going to be a lucrative job.  However, even though you can’t be a cowboy, you can still distinguish yourself as a rugged individual by wearing a unique flannel Western shirt! When a person looks at a western shirt it says alot of things such as, “I do not conform.”  Western flannel shirts are my favorite type of Western wear and they are part of the overall Western wear category of men’s and women’s clothing which derives its unique style from the clothes worn in the 19th-century American West.

The first original shirt to steer away from the typical boxy male shirt was the Western shirts.  These Western shirts stood out because they were more form fitted, tailored, and flattering; especially to those men and cowboys who were on the slimmer side.Tighter the better — that was the thought back then to western wear maker.The cowboy shirt had many connotation and there were many ideas behind it. The cowboy shirt relefected the attributes of a rodeo rider such as the reckless, yet brave behavior of the riders. They were made with a sturdy blend of cotton and polyester to make cleaning these shirts a breeze after a wild ride.

While the clothing was initially used to make a cowboy more comfortable and safe during their daily rides, over the years different styles and trends have been incorporated into the look of a mens sweater and flannel shirt.

There is nothing more dashing than a well dressed man in a sweater. Sweaters can be an excellent fashion choice for almost any man.  They can give you a distinguished and timeless look.  A sweater is versatile; you can dress it up, or you can dress it down.  When it comes to color, you will rarely go wrong with a dark gray or a muted hue.  Colorful sweaters are nice, but they do not always turn out to be the best option.   They tend to jump out and take away from your entire outfit.  In addition, they can make you seem young and a bit tacky.  Sporting a bright shirt underneath your sweater is the best idea for people who love bright colors.
Whichever sweater you decide on, it is always best not to try for a complex, extravagant fashion.  The mens sweater is a timeless look which have changed very little over time.   An all-weather fashion, your sweater will serve you well year around, and ought to be an indispensable part of your wardrobe.
