28So it’s finally summer, and while a lot of people are pre-occupied with the football World Cup, a lot of people are also trying to make sure they look on-trend and in style for the hotter months.
This summer it’s all about accessorising, and one of the accessories on the top of that list is a pair of designer sunglasses. So, with that said, here’s a couple of suggestions for my top two designer brands to be seen wearing this summer.
I’ll start with my personal favourite brand: Police. This season has some gorgeous Police sunglasses in the new summer line and I think they represent the height of affordable, obtainable fashion. They may not be the cheapest sunglasses you’ll ever come across, but they’re superbly well made and will look fantastic, in my view worth the little extra money. There are some really incredible designs available and a lot of them are suitable for those with prescription glasses. On the whole they also retail for under £100, which is relatively affordable for such a high profile brand. If you’re looking to save a bit of money and not overly bothered about official stockists, you can always have a look online at wholesale stores or eBay. You should be aware though that whilst you’re likely to get them much cheaper, there’s no guarantee they won’t be fakes.
My next stop would be a pair of Ray Ban Sunglasses, as they are incredibly cool, iconic and one of the top brands to be seen in in 2010. Ray Ban are famous for their Wayfarer and Aviator style of sunglasses; made famous in the 80’s by films like Top Gun and Blues Brothers. Ray Ban’s are particularly in-style this season, as they help bring that retro style to any outfit, a huge tip for 2010. Ray Ban’s aren’t too expensive either, with prices ranging from around £50 to £80.
Have a look round online and you’ll undoubtedly be able to find yourself a bargain, and if you’re unsure which brand to go for to look ultra-cool this summer, head for either the Police or the Ray Ban’s and you can’t go wrong.
