With designer fashion and global warming all around us, having a good pair of sunglasses is a must have for both. A good pair of sunglasses will finish off your outfit and sometimes can disguise your eyes after a night on the town. As for the global warming, with temperatures and sunlight increasing, your eyes need more protection from harmful UV rays than ever before.
So now that I’ve given you some valid reasons to go shopping for sunglasses, you now need to decide on which ones are best for you. Now that’s where the difficult decisions come in.
Just like when you have to choose normal eye glasses, the decision starts with the shape of your face. The majority of people sit in 1 of 2 face shapes, either a round face, or oval face. A rounded faced person is where the length and width of their face is almost the same, more often than not, a round face person will be aware of the shape of their face. As for the other shape, oval, if you don’t think you’re a round faced person, then you’re most likely oval faced and this is simply where the length is longer than the width.
Once you have chosen which face shape you are, you can then make a decision as to which shape sunglasses you should get. If you have a rounded face then the best option for you would be a rectangular or square frame. If you do have a more rounded face then you are limited slightly because some designer companies don’t make rectangle or square glasses.
If you think you have more of an oval shaped face, then you are not limited at all, you can wear pretty much anything you want. You are not limited by any shape or size, you can opt for the bigger styles like celebrities, or maybe something a little smaller is more your taste, either one will look right.Police sunglasses or possibly you would prefer a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, you should be able to pull it off.
If you don’t think you have an oval or a round face, then there are a couple of others that may be you. If you have more of a heart shaped face then you would be best suited to some thin rimmed aviation style glasses. Finally, if you think you have more of a square face then you want to head for some glasses which are more curved as you already have plenty of angles on your face.
Hopefully you will use this information for the better when you go to buy your next pair of sunglasses. Remember though, just because you payed alot of money for your designer glasses, it doesn’t mean they give you enough protection from the sun. Make sure that they have the sticker on them to make you aware of how well they are protecting your eyes.
